DENNIS HARRISON lives and works on a farm that has been in his family for four generations. Until recently, he practiced the feedlot farming, where you cage the animals and feed them heavy doses of antibiotics and hormones and a way to increase productivity and control costs. After BSE hit in early 2000 Dennis and his wife Denise decided to reassess their practices and get back to basics. They put their herd out to pasture and eliminated all chemicals. Now their beef, pork, lamb, chicken and duck are 100% organically raised and are in demand from businesses and restaurants alike.
